Procedure

In the Enumerated List form, configure the enumerated lists for C_COLOR, C_SHADE, and C_SUBSHADE. Then, create the filtered dependencies in the Dependent Field Cross Reference form.

In this example, the filtered shades depend on the color. The filtered sub-shades depend on the shades.

  1. Associate a filtered subset of values from the C_SHADE enumerated list to the selected value from C_COLOR.
  2. Associate a filtered subset of values from the C_SUBSHADE enumerated list to the selected value from C_SHADE.
  3. Use the primary field name for the Input Code field in the Action Set form. The primary field names are COLOR, SHADE, and SUBSHADE .
  4. Define the dependency values for the action set as shown in the table.
