Example of promoting the subsection ingredients

  1. Apply this rule to an ingredient statement:
    subsection_4_bbqsaucerule

    The results are shown here.

  2. Promote a selected ingredient, such as Honey to the next section level (i.e., the Ingredients section).
  3. Click the Ingredients tab in the Ingredient Statement form.
    1. Select the ingredient.
    2. Select Functions > Promote Subsection Ingredients.

    Here is the result.

    • Honey is now in the Ingredients section.

    • The Sequence numbers changed for Tomato Paste and Sweeteners. This was due to the recalculation of the Qty % column values. Originally, Sweeteners had a Qty % value of 60, but with the promotion of the Honey ingredient, the Sweeteners Qty % value is now 18.
