WS Federated Authentication (IFS/AD FS)

In Optiva Configuration, complete these steps:

  1. Specify the site names and URLs for the Optiva Server and Optiva web client. An https: URL is required.
  2. Select Authentication > WS-Federated Authentication (IFS/AD FS).
  3. Specify the name of the host in the IFS Service URL field.
  4. Click Validate. The Infor Federation Services path is appended to the URL and a message confirms that the URL is valid. Here is the path:
    /IFSServices/ConfigurationService.svc/ConfigurationService
  5. Click Update PLM Process Configuration.
  6. If necessary, update the information in the Custom Security Token Service Settings dialog and click OK. The summary page shows the current authentication method and your new selection.
  7. Click Apply to confirm that you want to change the authentication method. The new authentication is shown in the Authentication section of the Home page.
