Validating the IIS configuration
Using the System Information page in the Optiva installer, you can look for errors in the IIS configuration.
After Optiva is in use, the Windows Task Manager can be used to view these components:
OptivaServerOptivaWebOptivaWebReports
If all three components are in use, at least three w3wp processes are shown in the Task Manager. There is one process for each application pool. The Image Name is w3wp.exe and the User Name is NETWORK SERVICE. The Command Line contains details to help you identify the application pool.
