Microsoft .NET Framework For the application server, Optiva requires .NET Framework 4.8.
  • Windows Server 2016 comes with .NET Framework 4.6.2 pre-installed, which must be upgraded to 4.8.
  • Windows Server 2019 comes with .NET Framework 4.7.2 pre-installed, which must be upgraded to 4.8.

PDF Reader For clients, a PDF Reader is required for viewing the Optiva online documentation. All Optiva guides and context help files have bookmarks set up in a left-panel to help you navigate to content.

If the bookmarks are hidden, click the bookmark icon in the left pane of the PDF file. You can also select View > Show / Hide > Navigation Panes > Bookmarks from the menu bar.

Some browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari can display PDF documents. You can also install and use an external PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
CD image Optiva is distributed as a CD image that contains the Optiva installers and configuration utilities.
