Specifying Active Directory user information

The Active Directory User Information menu choice functions the same way as the User Information that is in the Optiva Authentication utility. You can see the properties for an Active Directory user after you specify the credentials for that user.

Use this function to obtain the exact Windows ID or UPN value for a user.

WS-Federated Authentication (IFS/AD FS) UPN
  1. Select Tools > Active Directory User Information.
  2. Click the folder icon.
  3. Specify the user name and password. Then, click OK.
  4. Select Not for this site if you are prompted by the browser to store your password. The properties for the Active Directory user are displayed.
