Improving and testing a prompt

You can use the Improve Existing Prompt page to improve and test prompts.

  1. Select Develop > Prompt Manager. The Prompt Manager form is displayed.
  2. Select the required prompt code.
  3. Click the Improve Existing Prompt option corresponding to the Prompt section. The Prompt Improve page is displayed.
  4. Specify the instructions in the WHAT DO YOU WANT TO IMPROVE? field.
    Note: The existing prompt is displayed in the CURRENT PROMPT field.
  5. Click Improve. The improved prompt content is displayed in the IMPROVED PROMPT field.
    Note: You can compare the improved prompt with the current prompt.
  6. Review the generated inputs and parameters in the Test & Parameters section.
    Note: The inputs and parameters displayed in the Test & Parameters field are based on the instructions specified in the WHAT DO YOU WANT TO IMPROVE? field. For example, if the instructions include a PDF input, the PDF option is displayed in the Test & Parameters field.
  7. Click the Test Prompt option to run the improved prompt.
    Note: 
    • You can test the results based on the improved prompt and change the instructions to get the required prompt.
    • A new version is generated for each improved prompt. You can select the required version.
  8. Click Accept & Use This.
    Note: 
    • The selected version of the prompt is updated in the Prompt section of the Prompt Manager, and the generated prompt versions are deleted from the Prompt Improve page.
    • The Improve Prompt option is displayed only if the user has edit access to the prompt.
