Brix
Using this form, you can measure the amount of dissolved sugar in a liquid. For example, sugar content in fruit juices, beverages, syrups, and other liquids. This form is used in the food and beverage industries to measure the sweetness of liquids. The sweetness of a liquid is calculated in degrees (°Brix). 1°Brix = 100 grams.

This form is also used in these industries to:
- Food and Beverage: Measure the sugar content in beverages, juices, syrups, spreads and sauces.
- Agriculture: Assess the ripeness and sweetness of crops, fruits in fruit and vegetable farming.
- Winemaking: Monitor the sugar content of grape juice during fermentation.
- Brewing: Determine the sugar levels in wort before fermentation.
- Chemical: Measure certain liquid chemicals or solutions where sugar concentration is a key parameter.
The Brix related data across these industries is stored in a SQL table. The values in the Brix Industry field are specified in the BRIX_INDUSTRY_TYPE enumerated list. This value is added to the table automatically, based on the value selected in the Brix Industry field. The saved data is stored in FSBRIX table.
