Resending data to the Data Lake
You can use this option to resend data for a symbol and avoid duplicate records:
- In ION Desk, purge all Data Lake tables for a symbol. You can use these naming patterns to identify the tables for a symbol:
- OPTIVA_FS<SYMBOL>* — standard tables (for example, OPTIVA_FSFORMULA, OPTIVA_FSFORMULAINGRED, OPTIVA_FSFORMULADESCRIPTION).
- OPTIVA_C_<Database Table Name> - extension table & extension table language tables (for example, OPTIVA_C_ITEM0, OPTIVA_C_ITEM0DTLLANG).
Note:- When specifying the purge date range select a start date that includes all the existing records.
- Do not proceed until the purge is confirmed.
- The Data Lake Purge option shows only tables that have data.
- Use Compass to verify no records exist in the data lake table for a symbol. See the Accessing Compass topic.
- Open the Symbol form in Optiva and click Data Lake Resend Data option.
Note: The data must be sent for one symbol at a time to avoid partial processing and duplicate records.
- Review the Data Lake Sync Status form after the resend process is completed.
Note: The errors need to be resolved before proceeding. You can manually save the objects listed in the error log by using the Optiva user interface, to ensure the data is sent to the data lake.
- Repeat these steps for each symbol after the current symbol is processed without errors.
Note: You can resend the data during off hours when users are not actively saving objects in Optiva.
