Creating a new stage

  1. Open the Bulk Data Loader form. The Bulk Data Loader form is available only for users with the RL_BDL role. You must have the correct Form and Object Security levels for FRMBULKDATALOADER and BULKDATALOADER for RL_BDL role.
  2. Click Create New Object to create a new stage.
  3. Specify a description and save the stage.
  4. Specify this information in the Main tab:
    Stage ID
    The unique identifier for the bulk data loader stage configuration.
    Action Type
    Note: 
    • You can use this field to:
      • Insert(API):Uses Optiva API to insert the data.
      • Update: Update the existing data into Optiva.
    • The value in this field cannot be changed once an object is created.
    Description
    The description of the bulk data loader stage configuration.
    Status
    The status of the bulk data loader stage configuration. Possible values:
    • In Progress
    • Completed
    Pre Save Script
    Select this checkbox to enable pre-save hook scripts configured for the object and detail codes during the BDL operation.
    Post Save Script
    Select this checkbox to enable post- save hook scripts configured for the object and detail codes after the object is saved during the BDL operation.
    Post Load Script
    Select this checkbox to enable post- load hook scripts configured for the object and detail codes after the object data is loaded.
    Creation Date
    The date when the stage is created.
    Created By
    The user who created the stage.
    Modified By
    The user who last modified the stage.
    Modified Date
    The date when the stage is last modified.
    Validation Status
    The validation status of the bulk data loader stage.
    Validation Status Date
    The date when the validation status is last updated.
    Script Applied Status
    The status of the generated script.
    Script Applied Status Date
    The date when the script is applied.
