Adding Parameter Filters to custom tabs

You can use the Configure Templates form to add custom tabs for parameter filters based on the role, symbol, and class.

  1. Select Configure > Configure Templates. The Configure Templates form is displayed.
  2. Select a role.
  3. Select a symbol.
  4. Click the Edit option.
  5. Click Create Tab. A New Tab window is displayed.
  6. Specify this information:
    Tab Name
    The name of the tab.
    Tab Type
    The location of the tab must be selected. Possible values:
    • Upper: Select Upper to add the tab at the top level of the form.
    • Lower: Select Lower to add the tab at the child level of the form.
    Extension Table
    The extension table for the tab.
    Note: The selected parameter filters are cleared if an extension table is selected.
    Parameter Table
    The parameter filters for the custom tab.
    Note: 
    • You can click Ctrl to select multiple filters.
    • You can select one or more parameter filters for a tab.
    • You cannot assign the extension table and parameter filters to the same tab.
    Tab Name Language
    The language used for the custom tab.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click Save.
    Note: 
    • The extension fields can be added to the tab after the tab configuration is saved and the Edit option is enabled again. The extension fields are displayed at the top of the tab. See, Adding fields to custom tabs.
    • The Create Tab option displays all parameter filters, including the filters not available for the selected role or symbol.
    • The parameter filters that are not assigned to custom tabs are available in the primary Parameters tab.
    • The parameter filters associated with the custom tabs are not displayed in the primary Parameters tab.
