Configuring Context Mappings

You can use the Business Context Mapping option to display business context information for the current object.

Note: This option is displayed only when the ALLOW.EXPAND.BUSINESSCONTEXT profile attribute is set to 1, and is configured for these symbols:
  • Item
  • Analysis
  • Company
  • Formula
  • Actionset
  • User
  • Project
  • Specification
  • Label
  • Labelcontent
  • Formulareplace
  • Tradeitem
  • Labelrule
  • GRparam
  • Lab
  • Techparam
  • Sample
  • Test
  • Testorder

You can perform these steps to configure the Business Context Mapping option.

  1. Select Configure > Configure Templates. The Configure Templates form is displayed.
  2. Click the Edit option.
  3. Click the Business Context Mapping option. The Business Context Mapping window is displayed.
  4. Add or delete context attribute and field mapping values.
    Note: 
    • You can configure context attribute values from id5 to id20.
    • You can use field mapping and expression mapping. For example, [CONTEXT.(MFGLOC).ATTRIB_VAL].
    • The mapped field must be a valid field in the FSVALIDATION table.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Save. The configured attributes are displayed in the Context Viewer.
