Optimization Modeler- field descriptions
Fields are presented in the order that they are presented in a form. Click a link to see the field descriptions for the form.
Main tab
Use this tab to enter information about the parameter or item such as description, solver type, or Lab UOM.
- Description
-
The description of the object. Click
to specify the translated description label.
- Lab UOM
-
The UOM of the object.
Note: The value in this field is defaulted from the value UOM COL attribute specified on the Profile tab in the Lab form.
- Density
-
The code of the density.
Note: By default, this field is set to DENSITY and can be modified.
- Cost Parameter
-
The code of the cost parameter.
- Solver Type
-
The solution to modify the cost. Possible values:
- Minimize
- Maximize
- Normalized Extend UOM
-
The standardized UOM for normalizing different quantities.
Examples: kilograms, liters, or pieces.
- Normalized Per UOM
-
The standardized UOM for specific UOM.
- Add Hints
-
Select this check box to use the initial specified values for optimization.
Detail tab
Use this tab to specify the constraints which helps in optimizing the formula.
- Constraint Name
-
The name of the constraint.
- Description
-
The description of the constraint.
- Type
-
The type of the constraint. Possible values:
- Sum Constraint:
Use this constraint to add more than two items or parameters.
- Ratio Constraint:
Use this constraint to maintain a constant ratio between more than two items or parameters.
- Process Loss Constraint:
Use this constraint to determine the percentage loss of a parameter after optimization.
- OverDosage Constraint:
Use this constraint to determine the overdosage percentage for a parameter after optimization.
- Sum Constraint:
- Define Definition
-
The definition of the constraint. Click the
option to define the constraint.
References tab
The References tab is used to link to other Projects using the option.
You can add the objects to this tab by clicking the
or .After the new object has been added to the tab, you can click the link to open the object in its own window. You can click
button to create a new reference.Security tab
The Security tab is used to provide the access to the object and the type of access privileges that are granted for the Owner, Group, and Role.
This tab determines the objects and the types of access privileges that a user can access, such as the Owner, Group and Role.
The Optiva administrator configures the default security for all objects of this type. You can specify the security for a specific object.
Notes tab
You can enter free-form text comments for function (Doc) codes.
Attachments tab
You can attach text files, large graphic files, and/or URL addresses to an object. Graphic file attachments are displayed in the Thumbnail column.
