XML Export - field descriptions

Fields are presented in the order that they are presented in a form. Click a link to see the field descriptions for the form.
Note: 
  • You can export the XML data from these filters:
    • Export
    • T2V Export
  • The XML Schema tab is enabled only if the general Export filter is selected.

Overview

Use this page to specify the data that you wish to export from Optiva. Then, click the appropriate toolbar button.
  • Create XSD: Generates the data definitions for the symbol in the XML Schema tab.

  • Export XML: Generates the XML output for the objects in the Data Objects tab. The results can be saved to the user’s Downloads folder or they can be displayed in the browser.

  • Configuration Transporter Tool: Generates the data for a symbol in the Data Objects tab. This data is related to a specific template code and can be modified only if the general Export filter is used.

Note: These options are displayed only for general Export.

Browser

Review your internet options prior to clicking both toolbar buttons. It is recommended that you:
  • Configure your browser to allow pop-ups.
  • Decide whether you want to show the results in a separate tab.

Main tab

Description
Enter a description for the export.
Template Code
Indicates the template used to export the data.
Note: You can modify the value in this field using the Configuration Transporter Tool option.
Status
The status of the template. Possible values:
  • Active
  • Locked
Note: 
  • This field is displayed only if the T2V filter is selected.
  • The value in this field is derived based on the XSD_IND value specified for the selected template .

XML Schema tab

Specify the criteria for the XSD file.
Detail Codes

Optional. You can include some or all of the detail codes in your schema definition.

Click the Lookup and select one value or multiple values. Instead of selecting the Lookup, you can enter these values manually. In this case, insert a semi-colon between each value. For example: ATTACH;REF.

Symbol
Select a symbol, such as Formula or Item, from the list.

Data Objects tab

Specify the criteria for the XML export.
Description
Shows the description for the specified Key.
Detail Codes

Click the Lookup to select one value or multiple values. If you enter these values manually, insert a semi-colon between each value.

Note: You can modify the value in this field only if general Export filter is selected.
Key

Click the Lookup and select a key code. These codes correspond to the entry in the Symbol field.

For example, when you specify Formula for the symbol, formula codes, such as FS-0001\0001, are displayed in the Lookup.

Line
Shows a system-assigned line number.
Symbol

Select a symbol from the list. When you add more than one row to the Data Objects tab, you can specify different symbols.
