Process for defining filters

The process to create data filters is summarized here.

1. Assign a menu label to the filter.
2. Assign a filter to the system, a lab, role, or user.
3. Assign security to the filter.
4. Define the filter characteristics for workflow tasks, parameters including security, and documentation codes. Documentation codes are also known as function codes.
5. Assign object and set code combinations to the filter.
