Naming a template for a set code
A template looks like a regular object, such as a specification, project, formula or item. But, the template has a unique naming convention.
The template name begins with a pre-defined prefix, such as @T
. The default value is @T
. You can change the default through the PREFIX.TEMPLATE profile attribute. The rest of the template name matches the name of a set. (The set must be enabled for templates.)
Set Code | Template name | Template with version |
---|---|---|
DAIRY |
@TDAIRY |
@TDAIRY\0001 |
FOOD |
@TFOOD |
@TFOOD\0001 |
After you create a template, it is listed with Sets in the lookup. When you select a set, the template is displayed.

The template is automatically assigned to the associated template set code.
