Defining user and role relationships

Users are assigned to roles. Roles enable users to access the forms and data that they require to do their jobs in each lab. Users are assigned to roles either directly on the User form, or indirectly through Access Collections assigned to the User form.

  • One user can have more than one role
  • One role can have many users

After roles have been set up, they can be assigned to users.

  1. See Creating users.
  2. Assign users to roles in the User > Roles tab, or User > Access Collections tab.
