Configuring derived fields
Configure the enumerated lists. For this example, the enumerated lists are
            C_FLAVOR and C_COLOR.
Associate the dependent values in the Dependent
Field Cross Reference form. For example, COLOR depends on FLAVOR. Specify the primary
and dependent values manually in this form.
Users can select the primary value for the FLAVOR extension field from an enumerated list or lookup. The system
         administrator uses the Primary
         and Dependent Field names
            (FLAVOR and COLOR) as
input codes in the action set. The dependent extension field derives its value from the
         primary value.
To delete a cross-reference, remove a row. You cannot delete the table itself.
Define the dependent fields as input codes in the action set. The primary
field (FLAVOR) must be a single-value with an Enum Style of Droplist, an Enum
query, or a Lookup. The derived field (COLOR) must
have an Enum Style of Derived.
      | Field | Column | Entry |
|---|---|---|
| Primary | Dep Field Enum Style |

00, the default 2 - Droplist (Enum Ind = enum query, lookup code or enum val list) |

| Dependent (derived) | Dep Field Enum Style |
