Troubleshooting

  • Ensure the PLM Process homepage wizard IMPORT ION CONFIG has been run – IDM Reports will not work without this, even though this wizard is not required for general IDM use in Multi-Tenant Cloud.
  • Upload all MS Word templates to IDM in the OPTIVA_REPORT_TEMPLATES doc type. These are not part of standard provisioning at this time. Templates for example reports provided with Implementation Accelerator and Base Databases are available on the Infor Support portal, KB 2118397.
  • In Part 6 above, there are 4 alert messages that will be left disabled during normal report processing, but which can be turned on to assist with reports not generating at all.
  • If table data does not appear correctly (e.g. copies the same row data to every row), ensure you have followed instructions in the IDM Output Report guide for adding data as Repeating Section.
  • The IDM Property Editor tab of the IDM Output Word add-in includes the ability to suppress blank data. An issue was uncovered regarding blank picture data and has been resolved. Depending on your OS version, you may need an upgrade to resolve this issue.
