Working with the display options

In the Ingredients tab of the Ingredient Statement Rule form, the Option field helps to determine how much information is displayed in the ingredient statement. You can:

• Ignore sub-items: Honey and Sugar are not shown with Honey BBQ Sauce.

  

• Explode to sub-items: Honey and Sugar are shown, but Honey BBQ Sauce is not.

  

  Child ingredient statements take precedence over this entry. Suppose the rule is set to Explode sub-items, but there is a child ingredient statement that is assigned to the item. In this case, the rule is treated as if you selected Ignore sub-items.

• Display Sublabels: Honey BBQ Sauce is shown, along with Honey and Sugar (which are displayed inside parentheses).
