Post-installation tasks

The installers handle most of the post-installation tasks. For example:

• There are eight different settings that determine which authentication profile is in use. If the authentication profile is WS-Federation, additional sections are displayed in the FsOptivaWeb/Web.config file.
• The Optiva administrator can use the Optiva Authentication utility to specify or verify the authentication mode. See Authentication choices.
• aspnet_regiis can be used to fix some problems with the IIS configuration. See After installing IIS and optionally upgrading .NET Framework
