WS Federated Authentication (IFS CE/Ping Federate)
Before you begin, ensure that you have this information.
- idp.properties file - (PingFederate is the identity provider for IFS CE.)
Now, you are ready to proceed with the authentication process. In PLM Process Configuration, complete these steps:
- Specify the site names and URLs for the PLM Process Server and PLM Process web client. An https: URL is required.
- Select .

Web Applications tab. The
default name for this file is
sp.properties. (If necessary, open the
sp.properties file using a text editor. Then,
edit the properties named
sp.entityid,sp.slo.url, andsp.sso.urlto match the URL of your load balancer. Save the changes.) - Submit the sp.properties file to the Infor Ming.le CE management team. You should receive an application package from them.

Click the Identity
Provider tab. Then, click . In the
Select Property List File dialog:
- Click the file browser button.
- Select the idp.properties file.
- Click . The properties in this tab are read-only.
