Using the Formula Ingredient Replace form

The Ingredient Replace form provides a way to replace a single ingredient across multiple formulas within a lab. To search all formulas in all labs, you must be logged into the Global lab.

You can replace materials with materials, materials with formulas, and formulas with materials.

When you replace the ingredient, you can either create a new formula or overwrite existing formula.

Here is an overview of the replacement form.

Screen Element	Description
Main tab	Specify the replacement criteria. See Replacing ingredients.
Formula tab	Search for and add candidate formulas. See Specifying the formulas.
Result tab	See a summary of the proposed changes. Then, click Replace to perform the replacement.
