Obtaining the workflow user credential from ION API

In the Infor ION API screen, complete these steps:

  1. Click Authorized Apps.
  2. Click Add New App.
  3. Specify a name and description. For example, the name can be Optiva IDM. The description can be Optiva integration with IDM.
  4. Specify Backend Service for the Type.
  5. Click Save. Then, click Download Credentials.
  6. In the Download Credentials dialog, enable Create Service Account. Select a user name and click Download. The selected user must have the IDM-User and the IDM Superuser roles.
  7. Save the “ionAPI” file. This is a JSON-based file that has the information for the integration connection points.
