Archiving rules

This table explains how the IDM.ARCHIVE_ENABLED profile attribute works.


IDM.ARCHIVE_ENABLED	Delete Optiva Object	Delete a row in Attachments grid	Replace an attachment in Optiva
0	Attachments are deleted from IDM.	Attachment is deleted from IDM.	Old Attachment is deleted from IDM search. Old Attachment remains in IDM History so that you can revert back to a previous version.
1	Attachments are archived in IDM.	Attachment remains in IDM. Document Type can be searched using IDM archived search.	Old Attachment is deleted from IDM search. Old Attachment remains in IDM History so that you can revert back to a previous version.
