Toggling between search modes
The criteria that you enter in Advanced mode is not reflected in Simple mode:
- You can clear the criteria from the Advanced mode and return to Simple mode. In this scenario, when you enter new criteria in Simple mode, that criteria is reflected in Advanced mode.
- You can return to Simple mode without clearing the criteria from Advanced mode. Any subsequent changes that you make in Simple mode are not reflected in Advanced mode.
- In Advanced mode, you can use the ANSI SQL command, Intersect, to search for multiple criteria such as parameters, context attributes, and references.
- In Advanced mode, the period is always used as the
decimal separator and the date format is always
YYYYMMDD
. These conventions apply, regardless of the browser language setting. Suppose the web client and the Optiva server use br-FR for the locale and you specify 5,2 in Simple mode. In this case, the value is shown as 5.2 in Advanced mode.
