Scripting functions
In theory, Optiva functions work in all three areas of Optiva:
- Workflow
- Copy methods
- Equations
This documentation shows the conventional, common usage for the functions that makes the most sense. From a technical perspective, you can send a message each time an equation is calculated. It does not make sense from a performance perspective.
You may find that even though the documentation does not contain an example for a specific area, you can apply the function successfully. In the documentation, the heading for the example tells you where the function can be used.
Each function is presented in alphabetical order. You can use the PDF bookmarks in the left pane to find the function that you want.
