Process for defining specifications

You can define and maintain specifications in the Specification form. The process is described briefly here.

  1. Create a specification using rule codes and copy methods. Specifications list the characteristics of a formula prototype.
  2. Assign general information.
  3. Assign parameter values.
  4. Assign items.
  5. Assign instructions.
  6. Assign byproducts.
  7. Add information to extension tables.
  8. Look at views of related data.
  9. Add references to related objects.
  10. Add standard properties (attachments, contexts, sets, security).
