Formula example

For this example, select the Formula symbol and assign the formula to the Source field in the Parameters tab.

Then, assign the claim to the Content Claims tab and click Apply Rules.

• The rules that are assigned to the FDA claim are evaluated and processed separately.
• The parameter(s) on the rule are compared to parameter values on the formula.
  • What if the formula values meet the criteria of the underlying claim definition? Then those claim rules and the corresponding claim text are displayed in the Content Claims tab.
  • If the formula values do not meet the criteria, the rule is not shown in the grid.
  • If one rule passes and another rule fails, then the text from the passed rule is displayed in the grid.
