SMTP

If your server does not have Microsoft Outlook installed, use SMTP to send emails. You can use SMTP to send document attachments from Optiva.

For the Windows Server, complete these steps:

  1. Open Server Manager.
  2. Select Local Server.
  3. Select Manage > Add Roles and Features.
  4. Click Server Selection.
  5. Select the local server.
  6. Click Next twice.
  7. Select the SMTP Server check box.
  8. Click Add Features if the Add Roles and Features Wizard is displayed.
  9. Click Next. Then, click Install.
