Optiva does not start
If Optiva does not start, it can be because IIS was installed after the .NET Framework. In this case, manually register IIS to the framework using the aspnet_regiis.exe utility.
Use this syntax to run the utility. C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -i Restart IIS. Then, run Optiva.
Configure the application pool to use the correct ASP.NET version (i.e,. 64-bit on x64).
If Optiva web reports is
running on the same system as the PLM Process Server, then you must configure the
OptivaWebReports
application pool, too.
Run the System Information utility to identify any problems with the IIS configuration.
