User provisioning

The Cloud administrator configures the Optiva users in Infor Ming.le CE. This configuration is for PingFederate (IFS CE) authentication only.

The configuration includes the first name, last name, email address, and GUID for each user. The GUID is used for authentication.

The first time that the Optiva users sign in to Infor Ming.le CE, their credentials are authenticated. After they navigate to Optiva, their user account is created in Optiva. At that time, the fields in the Optiva User form are filled with the account information from Infor Ming.le CE.

The fields in the Optiva User form are read only.

The user life cycle is controlled in Infor Ming.le CE. Any changes to the user account, such as a change of email address, are made in Infor Ming.le CE. The Optiva User form is synchronized with the changes the next time that the user signs into Optiva.

The Optiva user code is created using two Optiva profile attributes.

User codes can be deleted in Optiva only if the Windows ID is blank.
