Installing Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8

To install .NET Framework 4.8, do one of these tasks:

• Download the offline installer from Microsoft and run it. The installer is named ndp48-x86-x64-allos-enu.exe.
• Download the web-based installer from Microsoft and run it. Download the .NET Framework 4.8 Runtime from: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/net48.

Regardless of the chosen method, you must then check for Windows updates. This ensures that all security updates for .NET Framework 4.8 have been installed.
