Unit of Measure - field descriptions

Fields are presented in the order that they are presented in a form.

Main tab

The Main tab defines the information for the Unit of Measure.

Active

Select this check box to include the unit of measure in drop lists.

Description

Enter or modify a short description of the object.

Factor

Enter the value to convert one unit of the current type to one unit of another type.

For example: 1 10G = 0.01 of KG.

Inverse

Enter the value to convert back to one unit of the current type from one unit of another type.

For example 1 KG = 100 of 10G.

System UOM

Select a time interval to be used to calculate the start and end times for test intervals.

For example, if you select Day, Optiva will start each iteration of a test one day later.

Test Interval

Select this check box to enable the unit of measure to be selected as a time interval for the duration and time between tests in the Test page.

UOM Type

Select the conversion type for the UOM.

All unit of measures of this type will be converted to the default UOM specified in the Unit of Measure page.

For example, any MASS type unit of measure, such as GM or LB, will be converted to KG.
