Preparing your worksheets
After you have downloaded the schema, you must prepare your worksheet before uploading the stage data in the Bulk Data Loader form.
You must follow these rules when preparing your worksheet:
- The sheet must be specific to one template.
- You can only upload data for one template at once.
- You must remove all remaining templates before uploading.
- You must also remove the template name before uploading.
- You cannot import source and calculated fields.
- Mapped or sourced fields (for example, pulled values from mapped source fields) in templates are not included in the Excel spreadsheet that you downloaded. The fields could be custom or standard fields, and would still not be included in the Excel spreadsheet.
- Calculated fields will also not be included in the Excel spreadsheet even if the fields were custom or standard fields.
- Headers in bold are required fields.
- The Source Symbol and Source Object Symbol fields are not included in FSTRADEITEM tab after downloading the schema. If you add these fields to the FSTRADEITEM tab and then upload the stage data, these columns will be ignored by Optiva during the upload. The data will not be saved for these columns.
- FSTRADEITEMATTRIBUTE is for custom fields and there is only one template data for upload. You must remove all remaining templates from this tab. Only This tab does not support for calculated or source fields.
- FSTRADEITEMATTRIB is only for multi-value data entry fields. This is not for calculated or source fields.
- FSTRADEITEMDESCRIPTION is for for multi-language data.
