Accessing the validation codes
By default, only a subset of validation codes are available for selection in Object Explorer. These codes are shown in the Validation Code (Attribute Columns) lookup:

By default, the Field Name column in the Validation form shows only the ATTRIBUTE columns.
Optiva can be configured to show more validation codes and more values in the Field Name column. In addition, you can be given more editing capability in the Validation form, too. For more information, contact the Infor Support team.
The Views, such as V\PERIODVAL and V\VIEWS, are excluded from the list. This is regardless of
whether Optiva is configured to show all of
the validation codes or only a subset of the codes.
Validation records have been added to all Search <object> searches for Group Code and Owner Code. These validation records must be edited and configured manually for searches. These fields are not searchable by default.
