Setup tasks
The steps that are involved in configuring the Search <Object> pages are summarized here.
- Use the SEARCH<symbol> pages to define the status codes and the approval codes that can be assigned to each Search <Object> page.
- The SEARCH<symbol> page can include the
FcProcFuncSetEventSearch
script hook. This script hook enables the administrator to alter the search results. See the Infor PLM for Process Scripting Administration Guide. - Use the Symbol page to specify the extension fields for the Search <Object> page. Use the Extension Table Definition page to specify the extension table columns for the Search <Object> page.
- Configure the Search <Object> page so that users can search for a single parameter value instead of a range of values.
- Create the SQL queries that are to be available for selection in the Search <Object> pages.
- Create additional search results views, such as Pivot views.
- Recommended. Protect against SQL injection attacks.
