Saving extension tables to the database

Extension tables are supported in both a SQL Server database and an Oracle database.

  1. Using the Extension Table Definition form, you can create the extension table and the extension table definition in one step.
  2. Prefix the table name with C_.
  3. When you click Save in the Extension Table Definition form, the table is created in the Optiva database. The extension table becomes available for selection in the object to which it is associated.

    Only authorized users can access the extension table in the object itself.
