ImplicitLocking
Currently used for explicit locking only. The objects that support locking are Formula, Label Content, Specification, Item, Project, Test Order, Company, Ingredient Statement and Formula Modeler.
In the web client, if explicit locking is turned on, objects cannot be edited immediately when they open; only the
and buttons are displayed.What happens after the
button is selected? The button is displayed along with others that change content such as Formula Calc and, if permission allows, . If another user opens a locked object, the and buttons are not displayed.If an object is checked out by a user, it cannot be modified by another user. Error messages indicate when an object is locked by another user.

1st and 3rd position are always 0 because implicit locking is currently not supported.
If 2nd and 4th position are 0, locking is not enabled in the web client.

Explicit locking is enabled and enforced in the web client. The user must manually check out to edit and check in to unlock.
A master user can release a checked out object if necessary.
