Formula hierarchy for Global Calc

What happens when a formula is being calculated within a formula rollup? The parameter values for the ingredients that are consumed by the formula are used to calculate the formula’s parameter values. Therefore, ingredients for the formula must be calculated before the formula that consumes them.

Some ingredients can be formulas. These ingredients are either sub-formulas or items that are associated with a master formula. They must be calculated before the formula that consumes them.

Sub-formula ingredients are calculated before the formula that consume them.

The Global Calc process determines the correct order in which formulas should be calculated.
