Launching wizards
The system administrator creates the wizards using action sets. Wizards can be configured to launch directly from a system object or to launch from the Home page.
The section explains how the end users work with the wizards. To learn more about creating and configuring the wizards, see Configuring wizards.
Launching from the object form
The system administrator can configure the action set wizard to launch from a target object. That wizard becomes available for selection when you click in the Optiva object form.
Launching from the home page
If the action set wizard is not configured for a target object, you can launch the wizard from the Home page. Initially, the Wizards section of the Home page is blank. Click the icon to select a wizard.
The Object Explorer shows only the wizard action sets to which you have privilege. A target object is not defined for these action sets.
When you select the wizard action set and click , your selection is displayed in the Wizards section of the Home page.
The next time that you log into the system, your selections are displayed in the Home page.
Click the wizard link to begin the workflow process.
