Enabling Multi-Language in the Main tab

You can configure free-text fields, standard or custom, to be multi-language using the Enable Multi-Language check box in the Configure Templates form.

When you click the empty check box once, it changes to a check mark. When you click the empty check box twice, it changes to a minus sign. The check mark indicates to the system to display languages in the Description Language dialog from the Languages table. The minus sign indicates to the system to display languages in Description Language dialog from the C_LABELLANGUAGE enumerated list.

When you drag the Free Text Field into the Main tab, you can click the Language Translation button and enter a translated label for the specified language in the Language Translation dialog box.

Note: When a template is saved after you check the text fields once or twice, then all roles/classes for that symbol are updated with the same configuration for those text fields.
Note: When using the Label Language option, if text is entered for a language code that is similar to, but not exactly matching your current browser language, you will not see the text in your browser's language. This is consistent with Ingredient Statement text that does not necessarily match your browser language.
