Attaching equations to parameters

After you create an equation, you must associate it with a parameter or calculation method. You must attach the equation to the target parameter in the Parameter form in either of these cases:

• If the equation is used to define an equation total parameter
• If the equation is used to invoke alert messages for other parameters
