Calculating the parameter values for constituent formulas

By default, Optiva does not track the parameter values from a raw material’s constituent formula; the values are informational only and are not rolled up into formulas that contain the raw material.

To rollup parameter values from a constituent formula to another formula, the system administrator must write a PostSave script for the constituent formula. The system administrator can also use a workflow that calls the ConsituentRollup method in the ObjMethod function. The Level column in the Item > Parameters tab is affected by the constituent formula rollup.
