Setting up parameters for tests

Parameters can be used for test conditions and results. This example shows the conditions for the parameters that are on the Shelf Life test method.

In the Parameters form, specify this criteria:

  1. For the parameters that are conditions, select Test Condition from the Calc Ind list.
  2. For the parameters that are test results, select one of these choices from the Calc Ind list:
    • 0 - all calc
    • 1 - total only
    • 2 - Process
  3. Add only the results parameter to the Lab form for labs where you want the parameter seen. Do not add conditions parameters to labs unless you want them seen by other objects. Condition parameters are available to tests without being added to a lab.

Parameters that have Calc Ind 3 = Test Condition are shown in the Conditions tab of the Test form. These parameters are shown even if they are not added to the lab.

Do not create equation parameters that use TPARAMS. Those parameters require knowledge of the total quantity of a formula, a property that is not available to the sample object.

See the Infor PLM for Process Application Configuration Guide.
