Configuring for Analysis functions
Analysis functions require configuration and integration of several components.
This table shows the process for configuring analysis functions:
Stage | Description |
---|---|
1 | Create names for rows to use in analysis.
These rows are the row tags. Rows contain parameter values referenced by
equations for calculations. Create an enumerated list of source row tags in C_ANALYSISROWTAGSOURCE. Values from parameters in these row tags are used as input for equations. Create an enumerated list of result row tags in C_ANALYSISROWTAGRESULT. Results of equation calculations are put into parameters in rows with these row tags. |
2 | Define rules for rounding, degradation of nutrients over time and under environment conditions, and daily value. Daily Value is a percent of recommended daily allowance of a nutrient that is present in a serving of a food product. |
3 | Create equations to calculate values for analysis. Include references to source row tags of analysis for input and result row tags for resulting values. |
4 | Map equations to row tags that are referenced in the equations for results from equation calculations and for source input to equation calculations. |
5 | In labs, add parameters for analysis to the lab. |
6 | Create parameter filters for the Analysis form. |
7 | Create analysis templates to configure sub-lists of result row tags for analysis. |
8 | Clear analysis of results values. |
9 | Optional. Assign analysis objects to the label content object if you are using that functionality. The label content object contains row tags with nutritional data supplied by analysis objects. |
