Creating a copy method

  1. Open the Copy Method form.
  2. Specify an Object Type and Reference Type. This is validated against entries on the Create Rules form.
  3. Specify the default genealogy for the new object.

  4. Specify the syntax for the script.

  5. Optionally, select the Enable Tracing check box to record an entry to the related tracing table when the particular call to that script has completed. See the Infor PLM for Process Scripting Guide for more information about tracing records.
  6. Click Validate. If there are no errors, save the copy method. After you create a Copy Method, you can attach it to the rule.
