Metadata cache refresh

When you change the configuration in Optiva, those changes are immediately visible in all of the affected Application and web servers. An IIS reset is not required.

For example, when you create a extension table, you can enter the extension table values immediately. Lab changes are also seen immediately.

Some configuration changes are stored in the current user’s session. A few examples include:

• Changing the form security for a role
• Moving a form to another form group

These changes become visible only after you log out and log back into Optiva.
