Configuring wizards
The system administrator can configure wizards to launch workflow tasks from the Home page or from a target object.
This section describes the configuration tasks that are required for wizards. For complete details about the Action Set form, see Creating action sets.
In the Main tab of the Action Set form, the system administrator must select the Wizard check box.
To launch the wizard from the Home page, clear the Has Target Object check box. The Target Data Symbol field must be blank.
To launch the wizard from an Optiva object, select the Has Target Object check box. Then, specify a Target Data Symbol. These target objects can be, for example, Optiva formulas, items, specifications, or projects.
The Stage Gate check box is not relevant for wizards.
