Rolling up from sub-formulas

You can calculate all formulas in a hierarchy beginning with the lowest-level formulas. This ensures that the calculation at the top level is up-to-date.

  1. Change Item 5.
  2. Recalculate sub-formula B to incorporate the item changes. You can click Calculate in the sub-formula or click Calculate All in the parent formula, Formula A, to automatically recalculate both formulas. Calculate All behaves the same way whether a formula is directly nested as a sub-formula, or indirectly nested as a manufacturing item.
  3. Save Formula A.

Calculate All recalculates formulas at all levels.
